What the tool checks
The check digit
The last character is calculated from the previous 17, following national standard GB 32100-2015. A typo almost always breaks it.
The entity type
The first two characters: 91 is a company; 92, an individual business whose owner is personally liable.
The region
Characters 3 to 8 say where the company was registered. They do not change if it moves later.
